New fixtures, fitted right

North & Home Plumbing installs taps, toilets, showers, basins, sinks and appliances in bathrooms, kitchens and laundries across Bulimba and Brisbane’s inner east.

Can I buy my own fixtures for a plumber to install?

Yes. Many homeowners choose their own taps, toilets and basins, and North & Home Plumbing fits them. Check that each product carries the WaterMark certification, which is required for plumbing products installed in Australia.

For a renovation, the plumber can rough in pipes before walls are lined and return to fit off fixtures once tiling is done. Each install is connected, sealed and tested for leaks and flow before we leave.

When to call us

  • Replacing old taps, mixers or shower heads
  • Installing a new toilet, basin or vanity
  • Connecting a dishwasher, fridge water line or washing machine
  • Bathroom, kitchen or laundry renovations needing rough-in and fit-off

What to expect

  1. 01

    Confirm the products

We check your fixtures suit the existing pipework and carry WaterMark.

  2. 02

    Remove the old

Old fixtures are removed and taken away if you want them gone.

  3. 03

    Install and connect

New fixtures are fitted, sealed and connected to water and waste.

  4. 04

    Test and tidy

We check flow, pressure and seals, then clean up the work area.

How do I care for new taps and fixtures?

Clean chrome and black finishes with a soft cloth and mild soap rather than abrasive cleaners. Leave new silicone seals dry for 24 hours. If a tap stiffens or a toilet runs, call us early, as small adjustments are easier than repairs.

Common questions

WaterMark is the Australian certification scheme for plumbing products. Taps, toilets and other fixtures must be WaterMark certified to be legally installed, and North & Home Plumbing checks this before fitting.
